Footy Training

Man, talk about sore!

I started footy training again this monday (proper footy training) and I woke up tuesday feeling pretty good - the muscles were a bit sore in all the places I haven't been using in the last 12 months (ie everywhere) which I thought was a good thing.

So by wednesday morning I was still a bit sore, but rearing to go again in the afternoon for another session. I went hard. Really hard. And today I'm paying for it. I'm SO goaddamn sore! Under my arms from the push-ups and the dips, and my knees (yeah, that's right, both of them) are killing me.

I'm such an old man. But, you know what? I feel great for it! Despite all the pain and the complaining, I haven't felt this good physically (and mentally) since September last year! Let's hope I feel this way good, but hopefully better, by the time the first bounce comes along in 4 months time.
