Hey long time no blog! Been v.busy with work (sure, sure I hear you all saying, but it's kinda true this time!)

I'm mid-way thru a comic update (have been for the past 2 weeks) and I'm onto the third page of pencils for another comic.

BASKETBALL GOES BACK THIS WEEK!!! Woohoo! Wednesday night at 9 @ the Coburg Basketball stadium on Outlook Rd in Coburg (for those of you that read this and care or those of you that didn't get my super-long text msg 3 times cos my phone is a hunk of junk that decided that people might not get the idea unless it was sent en masse).

So my stupid xdaII decided to shit itself today.

It would not for the life of it turn on and just before I threw it against the wall in a fit of frustration I tried something and lo and behold it worked!

At a cost..

I lost everything that was saved in the phone's memory. So from now until I get home, I have no contacts, appointments, ANYTHING! Hopefully ActivSync will work and replace the details that I had saved up until a couple of days ago. But I'm not holding my breath.

Stupid technology!

Hey guys! Got the Mac today! I haven't had a chance to play on it yet; I had to leave work on time cos I had the shakes from not eating much. Came home, slept for about 2 hours had some food and I feel a little better.

So there should be a surprise for you guys on the site tonight. Not saying anything else about that.

So there is a new coach down at the Coburg Districts Football Club for the Reserves. I don't know if this is a good or bad thing, but the general consensus from some of my footy mates was that any change is a change for the better. We shall see. I'll find out who is actually coaching next year when I go to the AGM on monday night.

I have a packed schedule next week!

Monday 7.30pm: Football Club AGM
Tuesday 7pm: JMC Academy Awards Night (Mel's school's final performance night held at the Forum Theatre)
Wednesday 8.30pm: Season Finale of The O.C.
Thursday: My friend Rosie's 20th birthday.
Friday: Well apart from friday night always being a big night, I'm going out with Hoogie! I caught up with her last week briefly and we had a great time, despite it being so short. I beat her at pool for the first time EVA (with the help of her boyfriend whom I was partnered with).
Saturday 9pm: Rosie's party!

So as you can see, I'm gonna be ragged come monday-week! But it will be for the best cause of all - fun!

Anyways, I gotsta go and finish this surprise ;)

Later..

Wednesday already!

Sheesh!

So, Wagga. It was OK I guess. The weather was great and MOST of the company was good also. There was this one person that nearly incurred my wrath. One of those fuckchops that sits there and belittles people. He's big. Both in the sense that he is physically largish and he's one of those UNfunny people that makes a stupid comment, that he obviously thinks is a laugh riot because then proceeds to bellow out his hideous laughter. It almost intimidates you into laughing along with him.

I had to not start drinking on saturday night until right before we were about to leave to go out cos I was afraid of hurting him. You know that rage where you feel like you're going to bleed from the eyes? Yeah, that's pretty close to what I was feeling.

So, apart from that, I got fucked up on both friday and saturday nights. Experienced no romance and then felt jealous of those people that had partners or nibbles. I may have even managed to piss off a girl I really like, but I haven't heard anything, so I'm hoping that's a good sign. Then I felt sad when I was leaving because I knew I was going to miss Mel's family. That's because when I was up there I felt I was a part of it. That's kind of a cool feeling, and I'd forgotten what it was like.

But yeah. Then on monday night, when I was back in Melbourne, I caught up with a great friend of mine who is back for a short while on break from studying medicine in India. It was great to catch up with her.

Last night I crashed out for about an hour or so then woke up to watch the O.C. and then lay in a comatose state while I watched Mean Girls. Great movie, very well written. Well it had me laughing for most of it.

*yawns*

So I'm a bit tired now, I haven't really 'relaxed' in over a week, so I'll be looking forward to catching up on that this week.

Basketball goes back very, very soon, and Black has been voted the colour of the new tops, with The Raptors being our name. I have to organise our tops this week, should be fun :)

That's all for now, I should probably get back to work..

45 mins until I leave work for 'sunny' Wagga.

The weather here (in Melbourne) is atrocious! Ok, so it's stock standard rainy weather for spring, but I have to drive 5 hours in it! I really hope it clears up the further north I go.

So, this weekend, when I'm sober AND concious I might have a chance to do some comic. I'm sure there'll be a slow 15 minutes here or there that will allow me to do some creative stuff. If not I intend to have fun and make the lack of creativity memorable.

I think I'll post updates from up there, I'll email them from my phone. Thus giving you juicy to the minute updates of my 'exotic' holiday to country New South Wales.

Well, must finish some last minute work before I leave, so I shall keep you posted. Tata.

I typed up a huge blog this morning, only to have the blodder system chew it up and the only excuse it had for doing so was some apache server something error.

Ok, basketball goes back in a month, and so far the new teamname is Raptors (which has 4 votes) and the colour of the new tops is still undecided with 2 votes black, 1 vote red and 1 vote on the fence.

The 'fans' or spectators have 'voted' for black and the other purple.

Interesting..
